Job Description

A popular freight company in Cape Town is looking for a dispatch manager to join their dynamic team. Ideal Candidate needs to be able to pay high attention to detail, have good communication skills and be fluent in English and Afrikaans.


• Monitor the JDE dispatch programme

• Management of dispatch coordinators

• Ensure inspections of all transport

• SHEQ control

• Manage the loading of all vehicles and trucks

• Stock replenishment

• Training of staff

• Performance development and appraisal

• Disciplinary hearings

• Ensure all deliveries are on time and cost effective

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in logistics (Advantageous)

5 years experience in dispatch environment

2 years experience in a management position
