Job Description

A well-known beverage company with a branch in Lakeside Port Elizabeth is looking for 2 mechanical technician/millwrights. Will be reporting to the Maintenance Controller/Engineering Manager. Key Duties & Responsibilities will be to maintain production equipment to peak performance and minimize downtime; will be responsible for plant availability and breakdown repairs on production equipment; input on repairs & maintenance cost control and budget; perform preventative maintenance schedules; attainment of efficiencies; Implement shutdown schedules; Team based problem solving; Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.

Skills, Experience & Education is to include: Applicants must be a qualified Millwright, Electrician or have Mechanical Trade test; Previous experience in a Bottling environment would be advantageous; Applicants must be computer literate.

Must have sound knowledge of motors, pumps gearboxes and conveyors; Ability to fault find alone and find the root cause fast; Applicant should function well within a team; Be able to work shifts and overtime; Must have own transport. General: Due to CCF/CCS policy only South African citizens will be considered for these roles
