Job Description

Our Client is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. The role includes supervision of all warehouse employees, planning of schedules and deadlines and timely deliveries of all goods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric

• A Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics would be advantageous

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Management Experience

• Disciplinary Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of the staff

• Managing inventory accurately through monitoring of daily activities, cycle counts and stock takes

• Providing leadership to staff

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Meet Cut off times as per the daily checklist

• Instill positive work ethic and attitude amongst the work force

• Daily Floor Sweep

• Train and monitor staff in operational procedures ( SOP) and safe working practices

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety in accordance with company policy

• Liaise with drivers, customers and warehouse personnel

• Build an effective relation with all stakeholders

• Ensure that the supervisor/ manager are well informed at all times
