Job Description

Our client is a leading name in financial solutions, they have a fantastic opportunity available for a Web Developer.

The successful candidate will be involved in developing and supporting a range of new/existing consumer-facing websites for the Group companies and will cover every aspect of the development lifecycle. This will include working on a state-of-the-art CMS built in .NET 4 utilising Entity Framework Code first, with plans to migrate to MVC in the near future.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate with will have a BSc IT related degree, be able to communicate with all levels of management, clients and anyone involved in the projects and will have the following skills.

* ASP.NET C#

* SQL

* Strong OO Skills

* CSS

* (X)HTML

* JavaScript

Experience with the following would also be beneficial, although training will be provided:

* Entity Framework (Code First)

* Team Foundation Server

* Agile (Scrum) & TDD (Test Driven Development)

* Design Patterns (Repository, Unit of Work etc.)

* WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)

* Web Services

* JQuery

* MVC

Key Skills: C# / ASP.NET / SQL / CSS / (X)HTML / JavaScript.

This is a very challenging role that is suited towards C# ASP.NET Developers who like to push the boundaries and have a keen interest in latest Microsoft Technologies. Typically the core development team comprises of experienced techies who have a passion for all things Microsoft.
