Job Description
A specialised renewable energy EPC providing Solar PV solutions to commercial and industrial customers is looking for an experienced Solar PV Project Manager/Project Engineer to manage the feasibility and procurement processes on behalf of their customers across all sectors of the market.
The company is dynamic and young with large ambitions to have a positive impact on the renewable energy sector in Sub-Saharan Africa. This role offers an opportunity to fulfil a role in a rapidly growing company with large potential.
Minimum Requirements
• BEng/BSc Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of one year Solar PV project engineering experience in the South African C&I embedded generation market
• Minimum 2 years Project Engineer/Manager experience
• Good understanding of financial drivers and metrics of renewable energy systems.
Beneficial;
• Financial modelling experience
• Project management qualification
• Electrical qualification or wireman’s license
• Solar PV draughting or design experience
