Senior Project Manager – Wheeling

Job Description

A large renewables company with offices around the world is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Wheeling.

The Senior Project Manager - Wheeling will support the company’s strategic growth and will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of projects in South Africa to ensure that they are delivered on time and produce the desired results.

The Senior Project Manager - Wheeling will be bringing clean energy solutions to customers and be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. The Senior Project Manager will manage project deliverable requirements and contractor relations, in addition to establishing and monitoring metrics (ex: HSE), project schedules, and cost performance of the project in accordance with company systems and practices.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 8 years in a managerial role in construction/EPC projects.

• Project Management certificates (PMP or Prince 2).

• Previous experience in PV Power Plant Project Management.

• Experience in Wheeling Projects.

• Experience in Utility Approval Process.

• Support the project initiation phase

• Implement the project

• Close the project
